Lapilli Aglianico Beneventano 2023

From vineyards near the village of Avellino, high in the Campanian mountains above the Bay of Naples. This is a wonderful example of a rich, southern Italian red. Inviting aromas of black cherry, blackberry, ripe plum with a hint of spice. This is a full-bodied and intense wine which maintains a delightful elegance, with great fruit purity and a lovely smooth mouthfeel.
