La Ronciere is currently (2024) the only winery producing wines from this brand new DO, Licanten.  It at the coastal end of the Curico Valley.  This is an area that the family behind La Ronciere have spent time planting in order to take advantage of the cooling effect of the Humboldt Current along the Pacific coast. A wise move, which lends itself beautifully to producing delightful cooler climate versions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
