Chateau Reynier, Bordeaux 2020

Cracking value Claret by Marc Lurton at Chateau Reynier, just 10km from Saint-Emilion. Purchased by the Lurton family in 1901, Marc (an oenologist trained at Bordeaux University) and his wife Agnes are the sixth generation to work the vineyards, the result of which is the classic styled red Bordeaux.

A 50:50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignona nd Merlot, the wine has fresh aromas of ripe red and dark berry fruit. Medium bodied, it is well balanced, with round integrated tannins and hints of tobacco balancing the fruit character. Long in the finish. A delicious fruit driven wine.
