Barrancoa Red Ribafreixo

What a red wine! A wonderful blend of local varietals (including Aragonez, a Portuguese clone of Tempranillo). It is deep and inky, full of rich dark berry fruits, hints of liquorice and roasted coffee. But for all the bombastic flavour, it remains medium bodied, with soft, warmly spiced tannins.
